Well, gamers, it is time for the SolderMaster to get back doing what he loves to do…modding Wiis!

After my project was finished, work got really busy and my time was extremely limited.

But now I’m back and ready to get back to what I do best! Thank you all for being so patient. I look forward to serving once again!

Just placed an order for the new PS3 mod chip called PS Jailbreak. Looks promising so far.
I will post a review as soon as I get it.
And for those who wonder I WILL NOT BE SELLING THIS CHIP! Way too many legal issues selling these things here in the states. If interested you can pre order one at the link at the bottom of this post.

The little tiny dongle called PS Jailbreak allows you to dump all of your original PS3 games onto a FAT32 harddrive, and play the game directly from there.

FAQ:

Q: What firmware version does PS JailBreak it work on?

A. It apparently works on a couple of old firmware versions, but it was designed for the latest firmware version 3.41

 

Q. Does PS Jailbreak allow you to dump ps2 games, ps1 game, Blu ray movies?

A. No, just PS3 games.

 

Q. Does PS JailBreak allow every game to work?

A. Apparently 150 games have been tested, and they all work. If a game happens to have 1 file over 4gb the program will not be able to rip the game onto the harddrive. Apparently the word around is to dump it on an internal hardrive

 

Q. Can I still play online with PS Jailbreak?

A. When today (19.08.2010) you can, we can't guarantee you will never be banned for using the 3rd party device.

 

Q. Can Sony block this with firmware updates?

A. Probably. The have made the USb dongle firmware upgradable, but you can never predict the future. This is made to work with 3.41. If you happen to download an install an update which is higher then this then it is your doing. We will not accept stock back as "faulty" if you have upgraded your firmware

As most of my regular customers know, I have an almost 100% success rate in getting every console that gets sent to me to get modded done and shipped back same day they arrive.

 

For the next month or so this will have to change. I will still strive to get every console back out same day they arrive but on some occasions it may take an extra day.

 

I bought a new house and will be spending a good amount of time moving and working on my older house to get it ready to put up for sale. This will be time consuming and at some point my workstation will be torn down and re setup at my new place. This time will play a role in some delayed mod work but if any console is going to take more than 1 day to get turned around I will let the customer know in advance.
