There is a new un-moddable Liteon drive making its way to retail consoles. As of yet there is no way to flash these drives. However a salutation to this drive will be available at some point in the future.
There is no way to know if you have one of these drives unless you take your console apart and look at the top of the drive cover. If the FW version reads 83850c then you have one of these new drives.
It looks as though if you have a console manufactured after 5-15-09 you likely have one of these new drives.
It also looks that all consoles now coming back from Microsoft from repair also gets this new drive as well.
Once I start seeing these new drives show up on retail store shelves I will be discontinuing the BUY NOW of new pre flashed Jasper 360's.
There will be a mod for this new drive out soon however.

I have been getting many requests to bring back Pay-Pal. So since the customer is always right you can now choose between Pay-Pal or Google to checkout. The choice is yours.
Also the purchase of premodded 360's buy now button has been returned as well.

I no longer will be accepting the old style as a form of paypent. I now only use Google Checkout. It is a far better and safer way to do transactions online and works pretty much the same way as the the old checkout I was using. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
Until this new payment option is better worked out I will no longer be selling new premodded Xbox360's through the old payment option as well. If anyone is interested in a new premodded 360 please feel free to contact me for more info.
You can get more detailed info and comment on this at THIS link.
Sorry for the inconvenience but this is a better option for both me and my customers.
(update 7-7-09)
It seems that PayPal has seen the error in their ways and came to my way of thinking. They have agreed to cover their mistake. This goes a long way in gaining my trust once again in their service.

Since business is doing so well I decided to pass along the good fortunes to my customers in a form of new lower Xbox 360 service prices.
The new prices are:
* $33.00 service fee for all Xbox 360 mods no matter what drive you have.
* This price also reflects on the new premodded Xbox 360 sales as well.
Click the products & Services tab on top of the page for details.
Thanks for all the great support and hope everyone has a great summer.

More IX 1.6 Info ---------
Strict Wave 3 compliance means wave 3 games will only boot if they have correct PFI/DMI/SS and timestamp for wave 3
Strict drive speed compliance means games will only boot if drive is set for the initial speed of 12x, any modification of this make games fail to boot
SS v2 suports multiple timing samples for challenges type 5 and 7 , stroing them in the SS. This is a pre-requiste for SS v3 which has support for the so called AP2.5 check. Since this has never been used or may never be used by MS we will adopt a wait and see approach and continue to monitor for its usage.
With drive in Windows mode (Tray half open on powerup) 0800 mode is activated allowing easy dumping of game disc including SS v2. In this mode the drive is also able to output drive key, fw version and drive type by using a simple custom inquiry command.
Game exceptions are integrated in the fw for games that do not comply with the strict wave checks but are legitimate. These are Dance Dance Revolution Universe, Stoked, Ping 17 disk, afro samurai
One shot boot mode allows you to boot a Wave X or non stealth game by using the activate.iso disk as a flag. Just insert the activate disc and the next disc inserted will boot without any strict checks. This will still utilise full stealth if available. As soon as that disc is booted the flag is cleared, and you will have to re-insert the activate disk again to enable one shot boot. As always use with caution.
I have tested a Liteon, BenQ and Samsung that I have flashed with this new firmware and it seems to be very stable. All backups load just fine.
Please keep in mind that this version is highly recommended for those using Xbox Live. I anyone using this firmware has a backup that wont load it is becuase the firmware has determind that the backup is not safe for Live. You can still load this backup but you will need to insert a disk burnt with activate.iso. But it is highly recommended to use ABGX360 to fix the game instead of using activate.iso to load it.

If anyone has any questions about this new firmware hack please feel free to ask them HERE and I will answer them as best I can. |
