As of today the Xbox 360 Pro has been discontinued.

However the Xbox 360 Elite has been reduced to the same cost as the Pro.

Well screw that high price for this drive service. Thanks to (Geremia and  Maximus) the new Liteon service is now the same as all the other drives! Wink

Ok here is is folks. The new Liteon 83850c can now be modded. But truth be told this wont be cheap and is quite a mess at this time.

So it seems that the people behind the software to do this mod wants to make some money on this mod. I have no problem with that. In fact I donate a portion of every drive I do for this cause. BUT this is not good enough for them.

For this drive I will have to perform pretty much all the steps I have to when I do all the other drives. But one big difference this time. This time the team behind this mod wont release the software to decrypt the drive key that is needed to be able to create the proper firmware to be flashed to the drive. They will however decrypt this data if I email it to them along with $42. As of now there is no way around this. There is no other option available to anyone in the world. Whether it is a user who wants to mod their own drive and get their hands dirty doing all the steps themselves or a professional like me we all have to pay $42 to have this dump data from the drive decrypted before they can be flashed.

This also adds time to the mod since I have to western union this one single guy in the world that can do this decrypting his $42 and email this data and wait for it to come back before I can complete the mod. So this means that there can be no same day turnaround for anyone getting this new drive modded.

Please note that any console manufactured on or after June 2009 AND any console now coming back from Microsoft from repair will have this new drive.

Here is a breakdown on the service cost for anyone wanting to get their console with this new drive modded.

Flash service $35

Key decryption $42

Return shipping $15

Again this is completely out of my hand. As of right now there is no other option. Even if someone wanted to do their own mod they still have to pay this $42 to get their drive info decrypted to be able to flash it with the proper firmware. As of right now I am discontinuing the BUY NOW of new pre modded Xbox 360's. It seems that most consoles on store shelves are now manufactured on or after June 2009. None of these new consoles can be modded at this time.

As soon as a solution to this new drives goes public I will resume this service for all those you like to buy new pre modded consoles.

Also note to all those buying the flash service. If you have a manufacture date of June 09 or later you will have this new drive as well. Also any consoles coming back from Microsoft for repair will also have this new drive.
